Wedding Events Update - JULY 9th, 2007!! - Please see our updated Event information below -
The Oaks Waterfront Inn *The Rehearsal Dinner reservations are for 6:00 pm in St. Michaels. Contact Julie or Doug for the New Location. (wedding party only) The Town Dock Restaurant *Julie & Doug will be holding a meet & greet at the 'Town Dock Restaurant' the evening before the wedding for our guests and friends. Please stop by, say hello and socialize with us for awhile. (Everyone is invited!!) Our Wedding Day!! The Oaks Waterfront Inn *Please come early and get a good seat. This will be a outdoor ceremony and there will be refreshments available before the ceremony begins.
The Reception *The ceremony will be followed by cocktails on the deck and then a seated dinner in the main dining hall. This will be a coat and tie event!! The Day After - Continental Breakfast!!
The Surprise Engagement Party!! *Julie's sister Susan and her husband Jason put together a very nice Engagement Party for Julie and I aboard the River boat Potomac Belle. Here is a small gallery of the fun and festivities from that event.
Thanks Susan & Jason for the Great Party!!! A Weekend In St. Michaels! *This weekend we made the trip to St. Michaels, Maryland to finalize our wedding plans. The trip consisted of food and wine tasting, flower and wedding color selections, a trip to the court house for our marriage licence and don't forget the best part...the cake tasting!!
We would like to thank Julie's parents and her sister Susan for being there and helping out with the selection process and other events. Our Save The Date! *Here is a copy of our first notice to guests about our wedding date in St. Michaels, Maryland. This notice was mailed out to our guests and friends as a post card on February 26th, 2007.
